Sail Away on a Couples Caribbean Cruise with P&O

You also get a few sea days onboard the cruise ship while you are sailing to each island so you get plenty of time to see what the ship has to offer! We were onboard P&O Arvia which is one of their largest ships and the variety of restaurants are amazing - 6th Street Diner is one to try! 

On each island you typically spend the day there so you can explore on either a planned tour booked with the ship or you can make your own plans. We often waited until we got off the ship to see what we wanted to do! 

Some highlights from the trip: 

- In St Lucia we went to the rain forest when we went on an aerial tram! The views were incredible 😍 and we even saw some hummingbirds! 

- In Dominican Republic we went on a Dune Buggy tour around the island across sugarcane fields and around little villages! I will just say don’t wear white because you will get muddy! We went through puddles that covered us 🤣 

- In Tortola we took a 2 hour trip which was around $25 dollars each around the island and to Cane Garden Bay where the waters were so clear! 🤩 You can also spend the day at the beach and get collected later on but we chose to head back to the cruise terminal to explore the shops because there are so many here! 

- A beach day in St Maarten - one of my favourite islands! You can catch a water taxi from the cruise terminal to the beach. The sea was beautifully blue and we spotted some turtles that kept popping their heads up 🐢 

The best thing about a cruise is being able to see soo many places in such a short amount of time! I’ve also done one to the Norwegian Fjords and also to Bruges for the Christmas Markets! Our next would definitely be around the Mediterranean 🚢
